It has happened to me. I have been asked to change my gamertag. Its really sad, Ive had this gamertag since 2004. It all started in Feb. It was my husbands birthday. I bought for him xboxlive, and Links 2004. We had our xbox over and year and had never played it...ok we played it, once or twice. After all we had Ps2, Ps1, gamecube, nintendo 64 (3 of them), and we loved to game. He opened his gift and was very excited. We got the xbox hooked up, signed in and in minutes we were live. My husband was enjoying his new game. About a month later I had to be out of work due to surgery. I was in the family room and there it sat....the controller to his xbox. I couldnt resist, I picked up my husbands controller and powered up the xbox. (NOT 360).  I signed onto live, and in minutes I was in a game with 3 other people. We started our game and chatted it up, this was awesome! By the end of our game we had some pretty good laughs, oh and some great shots too! I had just made my very first online friends. Shorty after that my husband went out and bought me my very own xbox. It was my very own, I could play as long as I wanted...I DIDNT HAVE TO SHARE! Pretty soon my husband was beating me at Links 2004, we had joined the online community and started playing in tournaments. Our friends list grew! This changed everything about gaming for us.

Here it is 2009 and Im being asked to change my gamertag. Oh well, for those who know me and have been on my list since the beginning, you will always know me by my original gamertag! I changed it to Princess Booby, yeah I know its sorta the same...Im sure I will again be asked to change it...until then........
